All goods remain the property of the Tile Depot until paid for in full by the customer

Prevention of over ordering
All customers are advised to check the measurements and quantities being ordered as the Tile Depot accepts no responsibility for incorrect calculations made in estimates in-store or by any third party who has calculated on your behalf. Generally, the actual areas are calculated and then 10-15% added for cuts and wastage depending on the size of the tiles being used.

Returns Policy: Boxed tiles
There is a charge up to 30% for handling and re-stocking levied in the case of all returns
Only full un-opened boxes in perfect condition can be returned
Goods must be returned within 28 days of date received by the Tile Depot
Special orders may not be returnable
Goods can only be returned with a valid sales receipt and proof of payment
There may be a carriage charge for returning some goods

Natural stone:
Natural stone cannot be returned as each delivery is a unique batch
Stone is a natural product and as such the colour and texture may vary considerably from samples and displays. No match can be guaranteed for subsequent orders
Some will be prone to damage in shipment and most require maintenance. The customer should expect possible damage and add 15% wastage per order and order the correct quantity

Deliveries, breakages and Shortages:
All collections and deliveries must be checked to be in good order and signed for as acceptable
Should damages be noticeable on delivery, please report the situation immediately to us
Damages or shortages noticed after signing for the goods must be notified within 24 hours of delivery
The delivery day generally means all day and times cannot be specified
Tail lift deliveries will be made only to the nearest practical point of access from the road
Tile Depot accepts no responsibility for deliveries left outside, it is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any access limitations for delivery so a suitable vehicle can be used
No responsibility whatsoever will be accepted by us for any labour charges incurred due to late/delayed delivery
We reserve the right to ask for evidence of breakages reported before replacements can be sent

Shade variation/crazing & samples:
All tiles are subject to shade variation, and may different from samples and displays. Tiles from different boxes should be mixed. Customers must order the correct quantity for their requirement, as we cannot guarantee to match shades of previous orders. Any complaints relating to shade variation/crazing must be notified prior to fixing. In every instance, fixed material is considered as having been accepted by the customer

Hand made or hand painted tiles:
Hand made or hand painted tiles are rustic by design and the surface, size and colour may vary substantially even within the same batch, or from samples and displays. Some tiles may have slight imperfections, and this is inherent in tiles of this nature

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated

All photographic images are produced in good faith and are as accurate as possible, but should not be relied upon as a definitive representation

Professional fitting:
There is no replacement for a professional tiler, please make sure that the persons undertaking the work are suitably skilled and take responsibility for all aspects of the work you require them to do
